Ahmad Alamri has been crowned the King of Drift, securing the Red Bull Car Park Drift 2023/2024 championship at the Muscat Drift Arena in Oman. After a year-long battle of precision and skill, Alamri triumphed in front of a roaring crowd, capping off a thrilling global drift series.
This year’s Red Bull Car Park Drift World Final, hosted at the Oman Automobile Association (OAA), saw a record-breaking 26 drifters from 17 countries—the largest lineup in the event’s 16-year history. With competitors from all corners of the world, including Georgia, South Africa, Estonia, Bulgaria, Mauritius, Azerbaijan, and the Middle East, the event showcased an intense level of international talent. Drifters from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Palestine, and Iraq added to the electric atmosphere, where every small mistake could make or break a competitor’s chances.
Alamri set the stage for his victory early on, securing the highest scores in the first round. But it was his flawless performance in the Final 4 that truly earned him the crown. With near-perfect execution, Alamri outshone the competition, including fellow Omani drifter Hathaim Al Hadidi and Hisham Al Khatib, to clinch the top spot.
The electric energy in the crowd was undeniable as Oman once again hosted the prestigious World Final at the Muscat Drift Arena, the heart of motorsports in the Sultanate, where fans cheered Alamri’s dominant display of drifting mastery.
